The Girl in The Painting
The Girl in the Painting I’ve had night terrors for as long as I can remember. Ever since I could dream, I’ve woken up screaming, my mom running to me. I can’t recall what most of my dreams held, only the fear that shook my bones. Every night, I’d be terrified of sleeping in fear… Continue reading The Girl in The Painting

The Toxic Cloud
The Toxic Cloud Edgar looked over the edge of his black rimmed glasses over the rolling hills and shivered as the breeze blew through each vertebra of his spine. He reflected over the past few months as the eerie chill continued and the sky deepened into a noxious black and green color. His life was… Continue reading The Toxic Cloud

News & Democracy Party 2024
FRCC’s student newspaper The Front Page partnered with KUNC & FRCC’s Multicultural & Identity Center to host it’s first ever News & Democracy Dinner Party. The event, planned by The Front Page‘s Editor in Chief Seth Ciancio, consisted of two parts. First, from 12:00-3:00 PM, local journalists hosted tables in the RMR, and informed students about their work. Second, from 5:00-7:00 PM, local politicians came to campus for a discussion panel about democracy & media literacy. Panelists included State Senator Barbara Kirkmeyer, Adams County Clerk Josh Zygielbaum, State Senator Lisa Cutter, and panel moderator Seth Ciancio. Opening statements were heard from Colorado Governor Jared Polis, and Westminster Campus SGA President Conner Medberry. Attendees also enjoyed a free taco bar & Texas toast during the panel.

That applies to a growing number of Fort Collins fans as the band’s fame grows… Continue reading Clementine: a Band Northern Colorado Can Love

From Potter’s Wheel to Career via FRCC Degree Program
If her ambitions lead to a career in ceramics, Ella Jensen will think of a two-headed cow as a steppingstone. Standing among clay scraps that painted the floor below her potter’s wheel, she said the oddball idea was inspired by one of her favorite poems. Getting a degree in ceramics may be uncommon, but it… Continue reading From Potter’s Wheel to Career via FRCC Degree Program
