Women, Put Down Your Razors? One Reporter’s Take on Body Hair Removal
Society has been clinging on to the social norm of shaving body hair for about 101 years. For women, removing body hair is socially preferred and there is a stigma attached to women who choose to opt out. Some argue that this stigma is not only misguided, but senseless because body hair has beneficial functions for the human body.

FRCC Students Can Access Free Food Pantry on Feb. 16
The food pantry at the Westminster campus is ready to provide food, support and resources to Front Range Community College students in need. The grand opening will occur on Feb. 16, from 11:00am to 1:00pm outside of the student life office. FRCC Student Promotes Alternative Spring Breaks
As the spring semester moves along and students become increasingly mired in schoolwork, one cannot help but look forward to the iconic “spring break.” During the week of March 14, many Front Range Community College students will pack their bags and head to a warm beach or a cold ski resort to release the steam built up from weeks of hard work. Yet some students will choose to forgo the resorts, beaches and relaxation for something more rewarding: an alternative spring break. FRCC Instructor Encourages Students to be Urban Farmers
Caleb Richter-Tate, an adjunct instructor of geography at FRCC-Westminster, is passionate about sustainable urban agriculture.
Caleb grew up in a farming community in Nebraska and has been involved in agriculture, urban farming and sustainability for most of his life.
