FRCC Encourages Students to Resist the Dark Side (And Use Your Resources at the Peer Support Center)

From a galaxy far far away, members of the Mando Mercs Costume Club landed at the Larimer Campus to serve up free pancakes. Their mission? To serve students’ success.

Dressed as Mandalorian characters, the Mando Mercs engaged with students in a fun, interactive event aimed at spotlighting FRCC’s Peer Mentoring Program.

The Mando Mercs Costume Club is a non-profit group which crafts and wears Mandalorian-inspired costumes from the Star Wars universe. They often appear at educational events across the globe.

FRCC’s Peer Mentoring Program is designed to help students navigate the challenges of college life. The program pairs students with experienced peers who offer guidance on academic strategies and campus resources. These peer mentors, either current or former students, provide support to help others succeed.

Students interested in the Peer Mentoring Program or other academic support services can visit the Academic Success Center. Services include tutoring, academic coaching, and supplemental instruction — all designed to help students reach their academic goals and make the most of their college experience.

The Academic Success Center is located in the Mount Antero Building, Room 350.
