Starbucks Sues The Crooked Cup on FRCC Larimer Campus

Today Starbucks officials held a press conference in front of the White House condemning Larimer County’s own Crooked Cup Cafe for theft of recipes. The CEO of Starbucks, Mr. Koff E. Beans was present and spoke out saying “We have never seen such blatant and conniving thievery. Rest assured that whoever this turncoat barista is, they will be held responsible”.

Starbucks has not just set its sights on the “turncoat barista”. At the press conference, Mr. Beans made it very clear that Starbucks will be pursuing legal action against the Crooked Cup Cafe for selling “fraudulent coffee” and “profiting off of the work of our very talented, very well-paid employees”.

The claims of stolen recipes came on the heels of a months-long investigation conducted by Starbucks involving espionage, bribery, and arson. When asked about the methods used during said investigation Mr. Beans had no comment and directed further questions on the matter to the company’s lawyers. He instead emphasized that it was the results of the investigation that were truly criminal. “What we discovered was that the samples obtained from the Crooked Cup were identical, on a molecular level to those of our very own samples”, said Mr. Beans.

At this time, the Crooked Cup will remain open and operating as usual.
