HOWL Magazine Needs Your Submissions!

Written by Jeramey Reamer

Attention all writers! This is your chance to get your work published.

HOWL magazine is looking for submissions to be included in the upcoming 5th edition, which will be released in April. Whether you write short stories or poetry, this is an opportunity to take your writing craft to the next level.

HOWL is focused on publishing a large range of different pieces from Front Range Community College students. All submissions will be reviewed by faculty and the Writing Club to determine the most qualified entries for the next release.

Tino Gomez, English professor at FRCC and Writing Club faculty advisor, has been involved with HOWL since the beginning.

“Our goal is to showcase students work,” said Gomez, “HOWL is for students and by students.”

Interested writers are encouraged to submit their most polished work for the opportunity to get writing and publishing experience. In addition to literature, visual artists will be included in the final release.

To celebrate the release of the magazine, in April, there will also be a reading event to honor the writers and artists who were published. Family and friends are welcome to hear the authors read their own work.

Please submit your best writings for submission to:

Tino.Gomez@frontrange.edu

or

Randy.Russell@frontrange.edu

The deadline for submission is Dec. 7, so be sure to get your work in soon! This is an excellent opportunity for students to expand their potential as writers.
