
Front Range Community College students and community members are invited to attend an upcoming event exploring the connection between identity and politics.
Politics and Intersectionality is a special panel discussion focused on how race, gender, sexuality, and personal background shape political experiences and everyday life.
The event will feature several influential leaders from Colorado, including:
Colorado Representative Yara Zokaie, a first-generation Iranian American legislator
Colorado Representative Brianna Titone, the first openly transgender state legislator
CU Regent Wanda James, the first Black woman elected in over 40 years
Victory Fund, an organization supporting LGBTQ+ political candidates

Students can attend virtually through Zoom using the QR code provided, or participate in a campus “Panel Party” with a hot food bar available for attendees at each campus location.
