A Writer’s Farewell

By Darby Holman

I have been lucky enough to have spent many years at FRCC procuring my education. I came here thinking I was going to be an art major, then criminal justice, then undecided, only to land where I am now as a communications and English major. I have never felt rushed to finish my degree here because the community that is FRCC is a place that allows people to find who they are, no matter how long that may take. During my time here I have discovered many things about myself, one being my love for writing. So, getting to spend my last semester with the wolf pack writing for The Front Page, I find myself feeling incredibly grateful. I got to experience writing for my small community on topics that I was passionate about, and I was able to grow as a writer. Even though this is my farewell, I will always have the memories that I made here, and I hope that I am able to continue writing in my future. Thanks for the good times and have a great year!
