Students around Westminster Campus have noticed the fresh court at High Plains Fitness Center. The hardwood floor was cleaned and resealed over the summer semester as a response to student demand. Brooklyn Santos, a student employee at High Plains, and the State Student Advisory Council Representative for Student Government at Front Range Community College, took the initiative to bring feedback from students to her supervisor. “I value hearing direct feedback from students about their experiences and needs on campus,” Santos said in a statement to The Front Page.

“My motivation regarding the basketball court came from conversations with students and a desire to ensure that some of the most utilized spaces on campus receive proper
attention.”
