While searching for my daily lunch, a flash of purple caught the corner of my eye – a dress? Surely it wasn’t up for grabs. But to my surprise, it was.
Whether you’re after green Adidas sneakers or a sleek Steve Madden belt, the student center’s new secret might just have what you’re looking for.
With the dawning of a new season, it’s time to spring into a fresh wardrobe.
FRCC’s newest addition is a free clothing closet, tucked between the Peak Café and the student information booth on the Larimer campus.
Yes, you read that right – free. Before you hit your favorite thrift shop after class, take a stroll through the racks and shelves. You might be surprised by what you find.
With an overflow of donations, new items are put out daily.
Have an interview coming up? Curate a personalized outfit that makes the perfect first impression. There’s even a full-length mirror to ensure everything comes together.
Looking for a thoughtful gift? Instead of stressing over price tags, you can pick something that genuinely reflects someone’s personality.
Worried about germs? No need to fret – gloves and hand sanitizer are provided.
And it’s not just clothes. The closet also offers items like yoga mats. Starting a new hobby can feel overwhelming, but when the gear is free, it’s that much easier to jump in.
The closet is officially open every weekday.
What started right here on the Larimer campus has been such a success that there are plans to expand it to other FRCC locations.
