Vaping Incident Causes False Alarm

On October 8th, 2024 at approximately 11:45AM, fire alarms went off at FRCC Westminster. The Westminster Fire Department responded. Students waited outside for about 45 minutes before the all clear was given. Asked about the incident, FRCC Security said that the incident was likely caused by a student vaping, and persons of interest have been identified, but the incident is still being investigated by academic affairs.
