Wolf Sightings at FRCC Spark Student Concern

A wolf sighting was reported last week at the Boulder County campus, after which numerous students started to voice their worries for what this could mean.

“I knew they were in the state, but I didn’t expect to see one at school,” shared an anonymous student, who reported the first sighting. Since then, there have been two more sightings in Boulder, and even one at Westminster.

“It’s only a matter of time before they show up at the Larimer Campus,” stated a Larimer Campus Security staff member. The security team is preparing to double down on surveillance of the premises, ready should the wolves step foot on the property.

While many have shared concern, some students are excited, hoping to spot a wolf on campus and confused at why so many seem scared.

“It’d be an experience I’d never forget, if I saw one” stated one Larimer Campus student. All classes shall continue per usual, and staff say that students need not worry. So far, the wolves have yet to be a threat to humans or school property.
